There are seven sacraments of the Catholic Church: Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Anointing of the sick, Marriage, Holy Orders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are organised into three groups:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The Sacraments of Initiation<\/strong>: \u2013 Through the reception of  Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist, one becomes a full-fledged member of the Catholic church.<\/li>
  2. The Sacraments of Healing<\/strong>: \u2013 Reconciliation or Penance and Anointing of the Sick<\/li>
  3. The Sacraments of Service<\/strong>: \u2013 Holy Orders and Matrimony\/ Marriage<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    All of the sacraments were instituted by Christ Himself and each is an outward sign of an inward grace. When we participate in them worthily, each provides us with graces\u2014with the life of God in our soul. Through worship, we give to God, that which we owe Him.
